Vegetation removal in preparation for construction has begun in the Simpson Road right-of-way areas between Osceola Parkway and Boggy Creek Road. This work is part of a widening project to increase roadway capacity from two to four lanes. The project improvements will include two new bridges, continuous sidewalks on both sides, and new traffic signals at Ward Road and Stratton Circle, allowing motorists to safely turn in four directions, and pedestrians and cyclists to cross Simpson Road.
During construction, residential and business driveways will remain open. We appreciate your patience as we work to better our community.
