County Of Osceola issued the following announcement on Aug. 30.
Steffee Landing at Shingle Creek Regional Park will be closed on Wednesday, September 7th to allow crews to safely repair the canoe and kayak launch. Crews will be installing a stabilization mat and adding sand to the area due to erosion on the bank.
The Paddling Center will also be closed. We appreciate your patience as we work to improve this popular, recreational area.
