COUNTY OF OSCEOLA: ARE YOU PREPARED FOR A FLOOD IN YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD?

County Of Osceola recently issued the following announcement.

ARE YOU PREPARED FOR A FLOOD IN YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD?

 HURRICANE PREPARDENESS 

Inventory and photograph your home’s contents and put important papers and insurance policies in a safe place.

Keep an emergency supply. Non-perishable food, water, batteries, flashlights, manual can opener and a battery-operated radio should be kept available.

Know your evacuation route. Osceola County Emergency Management will order or advise evacuations if conditions warrant this action. Evacuation routes will be available online at https://flood.osceola.org. If evacuations are called for, it is imperative that you follow instructions in the time frame noted. Visit https://readyosceola.org for more information on flood evacuation, emergency alerts, and steps to take to prepare for a hurricane.
