County Of Osceola issued the following announcement on Mar. 14.
Officials from HCA Florida Osceola Hospital received a proclamation from Osceola County Commissioners declaring March 3 as HCA Florida Healthcare Day. The system includes more than 450 affiliated sites of care across the state, creating a connected healthcare experience for patients and their families under a new name, HCA Florida Healthcare. This translates into connections with more than 11,000 physicians, 77,000 colleagues, 49 hospitals and more than 350 physician practices, freestanding emergency rooms and other sites of care.
WHEREAS, HCA Florida Healthcare is a part of Nashville-based HCA Healthcare, which was formed in 1968 and today, is one of the nation’s leading providers of healthcare services comprising more than 182 hospitals and more than 2,000 ambulatory sites of care, include surgery centers and physicians’ clinics, in 20 states and in the United Kingdom;
