OSCEOLA COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT: The first graduates of the Future Teachers Academy

Osceola County School District issued the following announcement on Feb 01.

The first graduates of the Future Teachers Academy, who are now teachers at Deerwood Elementary School, Partin Settlement Elementary, Mill Creek Elementary School, Michigan Avenue Elementary School, Pleasant Hill Elementary, and Cypress Elementary School, were recognized at our board meeting on Tuesday evening.  

The Future Teachers Academy is a partnership between our school district, Valencia College, and the University of Central Florida.  The program is helping us educate and prepare future teachers for jobs within our school district.
