City Of Kissimmee issued the following announcement on Jan. 24.
Don Smallwood served as the City of Kissimmee City Attorney for over 30 years. In that time, he drafted 1,466 city ordinances, represented the City in several high-profile cases, and worked on some of our most significant and impactful projects. He was recognized as a leader in municipal law around the state and was nominated as President of the Florida Municipal Attorney Association and named City Attorney of the Year in 2017.
His name and his legacy can be found all over this City. Don will always be remembered for his his unwavering love for his family, his passion for the City he grew up in, and his service to the residents and businesses of the City of Kissimmee.
