Adtalem Global Education Inc. issued the following announcement on Nov. 11.
On this #VeteransDay and every day, we honor and give thanks to all those who have served to protect our country, including those veterans in our community of students, faculty, colleagues and alumni.
One veteran alum, Dr. Jeremy Van Tress, a Walden University alum and Army veteran has never tired of serving and assisting others in need. Dr. Van Tress, who has Lou Gehrig’s disease (also known as ALS), uses his skills to assist others living with ALS and their families, advocating for them, providing counseling, and bringing awareness to the disease.
Thank you for your service and driving social change, Dr. Van Tress.
