Central Florida Preparatory School issued the following announcement on Oct. 20.
Mrs. Oihus's 1st grade class completed a super fun math activity to review fact families. Students were given a fact family to answer. Then they crumpled up their papers to snowball the teacher! After the kids each picked up a snowball paper to check the fact family. If the fact family needed some corrections, the students worked in groups to make the corrections.
To wrap up the lesson, Mrs. Oihus got to toss a snowball back at each student. That student showed their work in the board while the rest of the students worked it out on dry erase boards.
