Woodlawn Funeral Home & Crematory issued the following announcement on Aug. 13.
"He saved my son, he saved my wife, and he saved me" says Columbus Blue Jackets goalie Elvis Merzlikins of his teammate Matiss Kivlenieks. Kivlenieks died a hero after saving his teammate and his pregnant wife from an errant fireworks blast that killed the 24-year-old.
