At 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 17, the Stetson Hatters, featuring former Central Pointe Christian Academy standout Joel Core, were defeated 10-1 by the Florida Gators in their NCAA Division I baseball matchup.
The teams faced off at Condron Family Ballpark for their third meeting of the season. In their earlier contest on Wednesday, Feb. 18, the Hatters lost 9-3.
Core took the mound for 1.2 innings and gave up three walks.
Next up, the Hatters are set to play the West Georgia Wolves on Friday, March 20, at 6:30 p.m. at Melching Field at Conrad Park.
