Detectives from the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office have arrested Brian Belanger following an investigation into possession of child sexual abuse material. The case began when the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) alerted authorities to possible online solicitation and possession of illegal content.

On January 29, 2026, members of the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) unit executed a search warrant at a residence in St. Cloud Manor estates, St. Cloud, Florida. According to investigators, evidence was found indicating that Belanger had expressed intentions to meet minors for sexual activity.

Belanger faces four counts of possession of photo or video depicting the sexual performance of a child, as well as unlawful use of a two-way communication device. He was booked into Osceola County Jail without bond. Authorities state there is no evidence at this time that Belanger met any minors in person.

The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office emphasized its commitment to public safety and encouraged anyone with information about this case or similar incidents to contact them at (407) 348-2222.
