Osceola County man arrested on multiple child exploitation charges

A man in Osceola County has been arrested on multiple charges related to child sexual abuse material. The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office reported that the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) alerted them to an incident involving online file sharing of child sexual abuse material and solicitation for similar content.

Detectives from the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) unit began investigating after receiving the tip. On January 27, 2026, ICAC detectives executed a search warrant at a residence in the Poinciana Community as part of their investigation. Authorities identified Lebron Grooms as the suspect.

Based on evidence collected during the search, Mr. Grooms was charged with forty-one counts of possession of photo or video depicting sexual performance by a child, unlawful use of a two-way communication device, and possession of photo or video showing sexual activity involving an animal. He was taken into custody and booked into the Osceola County Jail without bond. The investigation remains ongoing.
