Osceola County authorities have arrested Mahkyle Ferreiras following an investigation into the possession of child sexual abuse material. The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office began its inquiry after receiving a Cyber Tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC). Detectives from the Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) unit led the investigation, identifying Ferreiras as the suspect.

Detectives discovered online communications in which Ferreiras solicited child sexual abuse material from others. On February 12, 2026, ICAC detectives executed a search warrant at a residence in the Eagle Bay Community in Kissimmee, Florida.

Ferreiras faces four counts of Possession of Photo/Video of Sexual Performance by a Child and unlawful use of a two-way communication device. He was taken into custody and booked into the Osceola County Jail without bond. Authorities stated that the investigation remains ongoing.

The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office issued a statement: “The Osceola County Sheriff’s Office remains committed to public safety. If you have information about this case or similar incidents, please contact the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office at (407) 348-2222.”
