On Friday, April 11, former Olympia High School standout Daniel Ortiz’s current college team, the Alabama State Hornets, won 6-3 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Jackson State Tigers.

The game took place at Wheeler–Watkins Baseball Complex. This was their second matchup against the Tigers this season.

The Hornets’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 12 at 6 p.m. at Wheeler–Watkins Baseball Complex against Jackson State Tigers.
