On Friday, April 4, former Olympia High School standout Daniel Ortiz’s current college team, the Alabama State Hornets, won 11-1 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Alabama A&M Bulldogs.

The game took place at Wheeler–Watkins Baseball Complex. This was their first matchup against the Bulldogs this season.

The Hornets’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 5 at 6 p.m. at Wheeler–Watkins Baseball Complex against Alabama A&M Bulldogs.
