Edward Waters Tigers, the collegiate squad featuring former Timber Creek High standout Jourdan Avery, were defeated 95-85 by the Alabama Huntsville Chargers on Friday, March 13, during NCAA Division II Basketball Tournament play.
The contest, which began at 5 p.m., was held at Kelly Court at Spragins Hall and marked the Tigers’ first meeting with the Chargers in this tournament.
